"Everyone at Precision was wonderful - especially Jon, who dealt with me the most. I was stranded on I81 and had to be towed to his facility. He stayed open and waited for me to get there. Then he kept the facility open until my family was able to come and get me (2 1/2 hr drive). He kept in constant contact with me to let me know what was going on with my car. Once it was determined that I would have to leave my car there for a week, a loaner car was provided for my use (I live in So. Central PA). If I lived in that area, I would definitely be using this operation for any service to my vehicle. I cannot express my thanks and gratitude enough for their service and compassion for my situation."

"I might travel the 200 miles for Precision... Jon and his crew are just great. Did he ever help us out quickly and efficiently. They were so nice, I thought I was with old friends. I'm going to tell the short version of my difficult time before I got to Precision: So, it's Sunday afternoon, and my coolant resivoir just explodes under the hood on I80 in the Poconos. The belt tensioner failed, causing the water pump to stop circulating water. Pressure builds, and BOOM! One hundred miles from home in NYC, 100 miles from our destination in Binghamton, NY, we called AAA Roadside assistance for a tow. Still Sunday afternoon, mind you, so I google AAA Auto Repair, Binghamton. This leads me to Precision. I call, but they're not there. I decided to do the only thing I could think of: ask the tow driver to drop the car at Precision's lot and I'll leave the keys somewhere they can find them in the morning. I'm thinking we'll have to take a taxi from the shop to our hotel, then rent a car in the morning. Well, by some stroke of luck, the owner, Jon, just came from home to the shop to put out the garbage just when we pulled up! He greeted us warmly, told us he was sorry we had a difficult day, gave us a loaner car, and told us he'd look at it in the morning and call with the information. I got the call around 9:30 the next day. They had diagnosed the problem, further inspected the vehicle for any other significant issues, and told me what the car needed. This was a pretty big job, and they took care of it within hours. I believe that I paid a fair price for the work and the professionalism. The 'further inspection' I mentioned earlier noted a few issued that will need to be addressed in the future, but they did not try to 'upsell' me. They wanted me to know about these issues, and to understand that some things on the list are more important than others. To me, this is what my mechanic should be doing. The average driver is not a mechanic, and can only tell his technician when something feels, looks, or sounds funny. I rely o"

"I have high standards and am frequently disappointed when paying for any service. Having said that, I have used this shop numerous times for the "fleet" of family cars I care for. They have the best tire balancer in town--state of the art. Over the past few years, it has picked up several defects and Tire Rack has swiftly made good by drop shipping a new tire to the shop. The one time the “road force” on a new Michelin Pilot Exhalto was too high, I decided to let it be instead of getting a new one – and the car is twitchy when the tire is on the front. My mistake, should have swapped it out. These guys also have the best alignment machine in town. It gives before and after readings, there is nowhere to hide from sloppy work. They did my fiancées Honda Accord to perfection. I have nothing to gain here, but personally can only think of ONE business that I have hired in say the last 10 years or so that has not been a bitter disappointment – its these guys. Occasionally one of my cars might be on a track doing say 130 MPH. Being fussy is far more than bragging rights! Before I knew about these guys I had one of their competitors install tires the day before my ERA FIA Cobra was to do a track weekend. They promised the world, but scratched the pin drive Halibrand wheels (expensive!) and one front was so out of balance, I had to drive the car under the threat of rain an hour to the shop and jack it up and have them rebalance it – so I could actually drive the car to make sure it was okay at speed. That caused me to stay up until 1 AM to ready the car – all because of sub-standard work. Like I said, I have nothing to gain but fair is fair, and they have won over a VERY fussy customer. And the fact that the shop is clean and there is no grease in the car after they have it is a bonus. My son just bought a beautiful low-mileage BMW M3 – I would only trust these guys to even walk near it."
